I had no idea that the Red Sonja remake was in high gear like this until I saw that a panel with Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan was scheduled.  The poster above is first look and an idea on where it’s going… and I love it!  I’ve said many many times before, Rose McGowan has that Heavy Metal look to her and it totally works here in the poster.
Thanks to Doug Nagy of The Movie Blog; he puts up a report from the panel.  “[Rodriguez] repeatedly mentioned the importance of …

It’s stuff like this that kills me for not being at Comic-Con.  In the most amazing news I’ve read so far is during the Con, Tron 2 footage was shown! Wait a minute, Tron is actually being filmed?  Apparently so.
Slashfilm.com was on hand to see the teaser, so head over there to read the description.  The return of Jeff Bridges is so awesome but the thing that I want to know most of all; is the original Tron Bruce Boxleitner coming back to reprise his role?  He damn well better.

A couple of weeks ago the reports of a Robocop remake hit the net, then rumors that Requiem for a Dream director Darren Aronofsky was in talks to direct, then rumors that Robocop is in fact a sequel and not a remake.  Now with the first day of Comic-Con we hear the official word that Aronofsky is directing from FirstShowing.net:
“MGM just announced tonight that [Darren Aronofsky] has signed on to direct Robocop and that screenwriter David Self (of The Haunting, Thirteen Days, and Road to Perdition) is penning the script.  …

Below is a preview for the first season of Knight Rider…  To put it simply, I have no hopes for this TV series.  I didn’t like the TV movie and the preview video is awful.  Take a look.

The official Transformers movie website has been updated with a new logo for the sequel coming in 2009.  It’s nothing special as you can see but it’s worth posting.

Magnolia Pictures has picked up the rights for Return To Sleepaway Camp.  Return To Sleepaway Camp will be a direct sequel to Sleepaway Camp(1983) while ignoring the two lesser liked sequels.  Original director and writer Robert Hiltzik will once again be in charge of the project. Also returning back to the campsite are original actors Felissa Rose, Jonathan Tierston and Paul DeAngelo.  Finally something the horror community can be excited about and unlike The Lost Boys 2: THE TRIBE, it seems like all of the pieces are here for a …

Yesterday I posted a story about Peter Berg and directing Dune.  Today it appears that Peter Berg is setting up another project that he can direct.  “[Berg] now plans to direct Universal’s Hercules: The Thracian Wars from a screenplay by somebody named Ryan Condal,” says Ain’t It Cool News.
This is just another comic book that I don’t know a single thing about.  There’s two things about this news that interests me.  I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Peter Berg, for the most part, so I’d like to keep an eye …

Great news!!  If anyone has seen the Robot Chicken Star Wars and loved it, you’ll be glad to know that Adult Swin has announced that a sequel is on the way premiering November 16 at 11:30 p.m.  “We’re thrilled to get to make Episode II; it doesn’t even seem real-getting to make Star Wars twice! We’re so excited and bursting with joy,” says co-creator Seth Green.
I loved the Star Wars episode, it’s better than the Family Guy Star Wars and if they are going to make another on, I’m there…
