All of us who are fans of Battlestar Galactica known very well that this Friday is the series finale. In honor of that finale plus the rest of the series, Battlestar Galactica is this weeks photo special.
Below are three photos from the series that I want to feature - first is a cast photo for this final season. The second is of course of the mighty Battlestar Galactica. The last is a photo that’s been a big question for the entire series - a Six, Baltar, and baby Hera …

When I was a kid all the way up till today, Bloodsport was one of those movies you could see at least 20 times a year because it’s always on a movie channel.
With all of this Jean-Claude Van Damme talk lately, between passing up Stallone’s Expendables, talk of another Bloodsport movie, Double Impact, his recent new film JVCD, and this new Street Fighter film (he was the star of the earlier film), I looked through my movie photo archive and pulled up a bunch of photos from Bloodsport.
The first three …

One of the great science fiction films of the early 80’s and one of John Carpenter’s best is Escape from New York starring Kurt Russell. This week’s photo feature is just that - a couple of photos from this film.
Ernest Borgnine, Isaac Hayes, … what! That’s awesome. Just also to point out, Adrienne Barbeau still looks just as good today as she did back then.

Everyone already knows that I love science fiction - One of the best scifi movies I’ve seen in my life time, if it is even considered science fiction, is The Abyss. The reason why I say that I’m not sure it’s even a scifi is because it doesn’t get that scifi element until towards the end of the film. Most of it is just drama/awesome. Whatever the case may be, I love this movie and since I love it, here are just a couple of photos from that film.

Since there isn’t any premiere coming up this week that I’m looking forward to or am interested in, it’s time to start posting random pics again.
Everyone knows about The Road Warrior or Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, but a lot of people aren’t that aware, before those films there was Mad Max. I haven’t seen Mad Max in several years but even so, here’s four HQ pics from that film.

This week the return of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is here with a new night, Friday’s at 8pm, but along with its return comes the new Joss Whedon series Dollhouse starring Eliza Dushku at 9pm. With the return of TSCC and the premiere of Dollhouse here are the cast promo’s for both shows.
Make sure you watch both shows and promote it to everyone so both series can be successful on Friday nights, something that I’m starting to feel confident about.

The last couple of days I’ve been re-watching the Bourne trilogy and remembering how much I love these movies. I might even say that Jason Bourne is the American James Bond and possibly even more bad ass than James Bond…. just maybe. Also, Bourne is coming out on Blu-ray, but that really has nothing to do with me because I don’t have a Blu-ray player… what can I say, I’m a standard DVD kind of guy.

For those who’ve been following, Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans premiere’s this Friday! I’ve said many times before, although it isn’t the most popular opinion among people, I love both Underworld and Underworld Evolution. The first, I think, is the better of the two but overall it’s a kick ass couple of movies. Of course Kate Beckinsale in tight leather always and easily drags me into the theater but that isn’t the only reason why I like those films.
This third one is a prequel, taking place before the time Selene …

You know what’s coming up this Friday… Yes that’s right, it’s the return of Battlestar Galactica! What a better week than to feature a couple of photos from the series. The first photo is the “last supper” photo that apparently has a clue to the last of the final five, but whatever it is, I don’t see it. The second photo is of the beautiful Katee Sackhoff as Kara Thrace aka Starbuck.

2008 is over and with the end of that year comes the end of Christmas month and Christmas photos from around the world. This week we’re back to posting photos from films and television.
The past week or so I’ve watched two films that take place during World War II - Valkyrie (read review here) and Defiance. Each film is very different in concept but the fact remains they’re both subjects that take place in WWII, so because of that, it got me thinking about some of the great WWII films …

Christmas Around The World!
Your asking yourself (maybe not) why isn’t Phil featuring photos from Christmas movies and the answer is, this is more interesting. We’ve all see hundreds of different Christmas movies and posting photos of them would be nice but considering that Christmas is a world holiday, wouldn’t be better to see some photos of the season from around the world. Besides, I’ll post some x-mas movie related stuff for Scores & Soundtracks of the Week.
Since last week I didn’t post any Photos of the Week because I was …
