Last week, if you haven’t heard, Resident Evil 4: Afterlife has started production. The proof of that not only comes from Screen Gems but actress Ali Larter’s hair who returns to the franchise as Claire Redfield. While out and about, Larter was seen and captured (as you see here) with bright red hair which is a bit of a whiplash for those of us who are used to her gorgeous blond hair. She also, I’m sure, had to figure out scheduling because HEROES is still shooting its current season.

I was in the grocery store checking out a few weeks back, and the lovely, beautiful manager there, a mid-twenty-something that I’ve known for years, asked me if I was seeing The Final Destination that weekend. I said that modern horror really wasn’t my cup of tea. She was quite surprised, it was her favorite genre and she and her boyfriend were going opening night.

As I posted a few weeks ago, Steven Soderbergh is trying his hand at an action film for the first time, and his film is going to star one of the hottest girls around, in my opinion, Gina Carano.

The ex-fighter’s access to sub-standard robot parts hampers his hopes for glory in Robot Boxing, until he discovers a discarded robot that …

Over at SciFiWire you can read an interview with the always-beautiful Ellen Page about her upcoming film Super.
The picture is being written and directed by James Gunn, and seems to be about what a lot of superhero movies lately are about - a normal guy puts on a costume and goes out crimefighting. Hmmmm - could every filmmaker be trying to capitalize on The Dark Knight? Yes they could! Ohhh yes they could!!
Seriously, the lovely Ms Page discusses the fact that the script is really grounded …

The Terminator Franchise is for sale! According to this at the L.A. Times, and several other sites, Halcyon Entertainment, the … … wizards… behind Terminator Salvation are going bankrupt (again), and are selling the franchise rights (again).
For those of you familiar with the hoops we’ve had to jump through with Terminator, this franchise has been through more hands than any major franchise I can think of. It started out as a Helmdale production, with The Terminator. James Cameron owned half of it until he sold his other …
