Beware of spoilers for 500 Days of Summer. I’ve wanted to see this film for months, I finally got to see it!
All of us have seen a romantic comedy at one point or another. We’ve either been dragged to the theater, seen it on DVD or seen it on television and we’re all well aware that they’re all the same. They’re either A) not funny; B) over the top cliche, and C) totally unrelatable considering the wildish circumstance’s that take place in those films. Over the years, …

Spoilers for Zombieland. Click all images to enlarge!
I’m sure all of us have seen one or two zombie related films; the most recent film I saw with zombies, unfortunately, was Zombie Strippers - exotic naked zombies that danced and ate their patrons. A weird movie for sure. I suppose, however, the only film franchise that I actually keep up with is Resident Evil; it’s more action than horror and Milla Jovovich is hot. As most of you are well aware, I’ve never been a big horror for the scares fan …

It comes as a surprise for all of us who are excited to see if Robert Rodriguez and Nimrod Antal can resurrect the Predator franchise, that Oscar winner Adrian Brody has been cast as the lead character in the upcoming scifi action. Joining the already casted Danny Trejo and UFC fighter Oleg Taktrov is Alice Braga (I Am Legend), Mahershalalhashbaz Ali (The 4400), Walt Goggins (The Shield), with Topher Grace in negotiations. By the way, yes, Mahershalalhashbaz is a real name.
“Brody is a man who ends up inheriting the mantle …

Spoilers for Stargate Universe pilot
I never expected to start this review out like this, but, … is this what Stargate Atlantis was canceled for? WOW! “Underwhelmed” is the key word for the premiere of Stargate Universe and I’m a little disappointed.
Many of us were very upset that Stargate Atlantis was canceled by the SyFy channel. As we know, Atlantis was a fantastic show that found an impressive footing in its fourth season which I believe is the best season of the entire franchise. Still, however, SyFy found their …

I was in the grocery store checking out a few weeks back, and the lovely, beautiful manager there, a mid-twenty-something that I’ve known for years, asked me if I was seeing The Final Destination that weekend. I said that modern horror really wasn’t my cup of tea. She was quite surprised, it was her favorite genre and she and her boyfriend were going opening night.
Having known this girl for years but never having spent time getting to know her, I was a bit stunned that she loved them so much. …

Right now, currently, we should be waiting for episode one or two for the third season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Sadly, no. Summer Glau, however, must continue to work and as we’re all aware, she’ll be making a couple of appearances on Dollhouse with more episodes possible - more on that below the main bulk of the article.
Summer plans to take a different route leading her away from genre work and plans to dive into hard drama - a Lifetime movie.
“Lifetime Movie Network is embarking on ‘Deadly Honeymoon,’ …

I know this will shock some of you, I know some of you will fear it… but I want you to brace.. and be ready… are you with me?
Mostow, Brancato, and Ferris made a damn fine movie.
There, I said it, you can drag me out into the street and beat me if you like . But for once, they took an existing concept, elevated it, made it even more interesting than the comic, and then put their own spin on the ending. It was very interesting, …

Beware of spoilers.
It was an out of the blue thing that I saw Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. I hadn’t planned on seeing it but lately I’ve been on a buzz with Batman: The Animated Series and recently Batman Arkham Asylum both of which are incredible. Knowing that the voice actor from Batman: TAS and Arkham Asylum, Kevin Conroy, and the original Superman voice actor Tim Daly were starring I figured what the hell. Before I even review it, I can tell you that I’m glad I watched it …

With filming for Kenneth Branagh’s live action adaptaton of Thor gearing up, more actors join the cast of Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Tom Hiddleston.
“Jaimie Alexander and Colm Feore are coming aboard the Marvel Studios adaptation of its comic book featuring the Norse god of thunder,” says The Hollywood Reporter. “Alexander is playing Sif, a skilled Asgardian Warrior who can hold her own against any man. She also is one of Thor’s loves.”
“Feore’s character is shrouded in mystery–the studio isn’t even sending the actors the script–though it is known to …

According to Slashfilm, the new Highlander re-imagining thing that Summit Entertainment is doing now has a producer and a director.
For those of you who kept up with the news, the screenplay already had writers - the writers of the original Iron Man, Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, are being tapped to write the script, but in addition to that news, Fast and Furious director Justin Lin is going to be helming the picture. In addition, the producer of all the Fast and Furious movies as well as the XXX movies, …

The thing about the Emmy’s this year, nobody seemed to be there. Last year and the year before I had sooo many photos to post that I would make huge photo posts for the events. This year, sadly, I couldn’t do that so I figured I just post my favorites from the event. And not for nothing, nobody even dressed to kill except Olivia Wilde and Hayden Panettiere. Well, there’s always the Golden Globes and the Oscars.
Anyhow, Olivia Wilde is my personal favorite for hottest on the red carpet!
If you …

It’s amazing how the first season of Fringe became so popular especially since it airs on the hated FOX network. Hated, yes, by me because of several reasons which includes the cancellation Firefly, Terminator: TSCC, and the simple fact that the entire FOX company are controlled by some of the worst business men and women in the game. Reasons for that will take several posts. Fringe, however, is the topic of this post with it’s season two premiere this past Thursday.
Fringe, to sum up my love for the series can …

This week I’ve been on a kick of checking out artwork of Mechs… I don’t know why. They’re awesome, I suppose that’s the best answer I can give.
This week we’re taking a look at some of the work from a deviantARTist FlyingDebris. As you can see from the photo above and those below, AWESOME! I wish we can get a good movie with Mechs blowing shit up but so far all we’ve gotten is Robot Jox (great movie) and District 9. If you like what you see here, and I …

Some of us are totally miserable that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles isn’t returning for a new season, although there is hope for a return in a DVD movie, yet most of us are glad to see Summer Glau continuing her work as an actress. It’s not news that Summer will have a role on this season of Dollhouse but the particular role she’d be playing was still a mystery until Joss Whedon told journalists in a conference call.
Along with the news of Ray Wise guest starring, “Wise is the …
