During the last week or so, concept artist James Clyne began releasing some of his work from Star Trek which premiered May 8th.  Clyne, who I thought I posted about before but after looking - I never did, is one of the best concept artists out in movie land.  He’s done work on films like Transformers, X-Men 3: The Last Stand, War of the Worlds, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, The Fountain and several others.  It’s with no small measure to say that he’s experienced and really good at what he does.

Since this weekend was a holiday and I didn’t post, today we’ll catch up with what would have been this past Saturday’s Concept Art.

Wanted (Angelina Jolie) director Timur Bekmambetov has a new project in the works called Black Lightning.

Concept art has been released for a propose film called Blacklight written by Jason Dean Hall.  According to Slashfilm.com, where the photos are from, Fox Atomic has “acquired the rights to turn indie developer Zombie Studio’s original action property Blacklight into a feature film, comic book series and video game.”
“The multi-platform project is described as ‘a covert military action epic set twenty-five years in the future,” says the site.  Also, /film says that the game, comic, and film will all be “intertwined.”
