Knight Rider opening episode Review

Around this time last year probably, buzz of a new Knight Rider TV movie was coming, serving as a backdoor pilot for a series.  Well that has come and gone and the first season of Knight Rider is going to start airing this week.  The only reason a series has gone forward is because the TV movie did very well in ratings but the truth is that the made for television pilot was really awful for many different reasons.  Still, ratings is what matters unfortunately and a series is what we …

Fringe Review

When Fringe was first announced and described, everyone at once said, “X-Files?”.
 
It seems like J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci’s names come up everyday.  J.J. Abrams is the director of the new Star Trek film, he’s also been behind LOST and Cloverfield among other hits.  Kurtzman and Orci is the team that penned Trek as well as Transformers one and two.  They’re also behind Eagle Eye starring Shia LaBeouf which comes out this Friday.  It should be obvious by those credits that those men are very talented in their line …

The Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 2 Review

It’s not a secret that I seriously disliked the pilot episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.  I never understood, even to this day, why people have been so thrilled with how the series opened up.  I’ve tried to rewatch the pilot several times and each time it gets worse and worse for me.  I’m not going to go into details why because I don’t want to waste time on the pilot since I’m going to talk about season 2 but I saw a lot of problems with the pilot.  …

With thanks to Koch Entertainment, I received a DVD for the new Emma Watson film Ballet Shoes.  Initially I wasn’t interested in seeing this for a couple of reasons.  This isn’t the genre that I’m interested in and I never liked BBC productions.  However, knowing that this is Emma Watson’s first film out side of the Harry Potter franchise, in short, I was curious to know if she could act and if she had range as an actress in a different role than the one she’s known for.  So can …
