ABC says Eastwick is a success - plus new photos of the gorgeous women of Eastwick
As I said on my TV Quick thoughts, I enjoy Eastwick. It's not normally my cup of tea to like womens' style of shows, but this show is so funny and entertaining it makes up for being a girl show - trust me, I don't sit around watching Desperate Housewives, bleh.
Hollywood Gossip reports that ABC executives are calling Eastwick a "quiet success". After years of development hell, being based off a very old movie, the show has still managed to pull good numbers each week, despite an overall lack of advertising. ABC had little faith in the project, and it's proved to turn out quite well.
That's a little good news in and amongst the plummeting ratings of my favorite shows, Supernatural, Smallville, and Dollhouse - most of what I love won't last past this year, so hopefully some of the new shows will stick around.
Today, since this site is about movies and beautiful women, I've included a few pictures, mostly hi-res, one not, that you can click on to see the hotties on this show. Lindsay Price has been one of my favorite actresses since I was a teenager, though I never watched anything she was on for long because it was mostly badly written, she's a stunning half-asian, and has a very gifted body. Jamie Ray Newman you may recognize from Stargate: Atlantis, as the woman who Rodney cared for before Jewel Staite came aboard. And Rebecca Romjin needs no introduction, since she's been a total hottie for years now and that hasn't changed.
