Olivia Wilde’s Legacy (Tron Legacy)
ComingSoon.net has an interview up with the always-stunning Olivia Wilde about her upcoming part in Tron Legacy. Apparently principal photography, at least for her, is complete - so that's good news, we're one step closer to seeing the finished movie.
I really liked how she described the shoot -
That it was, like, the most difficult thing I've ever done. We shot some 20-hour days, we were wearing the suits, which are not easy to wear. I was doing a lot of my own stunts and training a lot of the time. Really pushing myself physically as well as mentally. It was an epic undertaking. It was a HUGE film to shoot in those few days. I was so proud to be a part of it. The morning that we wrapped it was an unbelievable feeling. We all just lost it. It was sunrise and we couldn't believe we were actually done.
I'm sure she wasn't in every scene so she probably shot on a somewhat abbreviated schedule, but I love her enthusiasm for it. When actors really throw themselves into a project, it always shows on the screen, and she sounds thrilled about it. She also said she wasn't going to write off SciFi movies so flippantly anymore because enduring a shoot like that while wearing suits is difficult at best.
I'm so happy to see this news. I wish we had a few more details on the plot though, they haven't said anything other than they're bringing the cast back together and Flynn's son will have to fight for his life on the Grid. Here's hoping it measures up...
