Suddenly because of the photos and videos I'm pumped for the Red Dawn remake. A new website RedDawn2010.com has posted a bunch of stuff for the new film. Isn't it sad and Ironic that Red Dawn is being remade at the same time Patrick Swayze passed away since this was one of Swayze's early films.

He-Man and The Masters of the Universe has found a new home since leaving Warner Bros. The Hollywood Reporter says that the title is now at Columbia. The bad news is that they're going to start from scratch and get rid of what was supposed to be a great script.

Along with the remake of Excalibur and the ridiculous remake of Battlestar Galactica, Bryan Singer's next film may most likely be Jack and the Giant Killer says THR.

That's one sick bastard, and apparently, Mickey Rourke is going to play him in a film according to the NY Post. The film would be based on the book "The Ice Man" by Phil Carlo - the title is the nickname of Richard Kuklinski, a mafia hitman. The cool thing about Phil Carlo, he apparently stopped Lorenzo di Bonaventura from producing the film because Bonaventura wanted Channing Tatum for the role and Carlo wanted Rourke. Bonaventura lost the rights and now Carlo and Rourke have spoken about this project.

There is a rumor that Philip Seymour Hoffman may play a role in Matt Reeves remake of Let the Right One In. Also rumored is Chloe Moretz as Abby (Eli from the original film). Moretz recently had a role in 500 Days of Summer and is one of the stars of Kick Ass. Read the story over at Slashfilm.com.

EOnline has the first look at Charisma Carpenter in the second season of Legend of the Seeker. I still haven't see the first season but I might make it my next project before it premieres in November.

Ali Larter will reprise her role as Claire Redfield in the fourth Resident Evil film. SciFi Scoop says that along with Larter, Boris Kodjoe and Wentworth Miller will also join the sequel called Extinction.
