Kurtzman and Orci may produce Xombie
In one of the weirder bits of news lately, the web series and comic Xombie by James Farr may be near striking a motion picture deal. Will Beall, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci are giving the pitch and would produce if the deal went through.
The plot of Xombie is basically a former cop becomes a 'good' zombie and tries to save the last vestiges of humanity from the oncoming Zombie apocalypse.
I've never seen this web series, but the idea sounds just weirdly interesting to me, and I would be intrigued to see what it looked like on the big screen. Check out ComingSoon.net for the full article.
