The Elm Street Legacy Still Burns With Heather Langenkamp

Finally! Some relief for fans of the Nightmare films. As of right now the making of NEVER SLEEP AGAIN: The Elm Street Legacy is taking place. This is to be, the be all- end all, documentary focusing on the influential horror series. What I'm most joyous about, is the project will be narrated and hosted by the eternal dream goddess herself, Heather Langenkamp. Heather played the popular character of Nancy Thompson who was the star in three of the franchise’s most important and loved movies (A Nightmare On Elm Street- 1984, A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors- 1987 and Wes Craven's New Nightmare- 1994).
The people who brought last years His Name Was Jason, will also be behind Never Sleep Again which is being created as we speak in CA. “We’re just beginning the process of conducting interviews with cast and behind-the-scenes people from all of the ELM STREET films, but I have to say that already this is probably the most fun I’ve ever had working on a show,” says Dan Farrands with Andrew Kasch and producing with Thommy Hutson. Release date is said to in April, 2010. Just last Friday a trailer was unveiled. Have a look and smile, knowing come April that we will have some solitude while the much hated remake glooms over us.
