The Solomon Kane Trailer
This one's been making the rounds lately and I had to post it! Solomon Kane!
The summary I found was this:
Solomon Kane is an action / adventure movie written and directed by Michael J. Bassett, and based on the character created by Robert E. Howard in 1928. Stars: James Purefoy as Solomon Kane (A 16th century puritan who wanders the earth vanquishing evil in all its forms), Max von Sydow as Josiah Kane ( Solomon's father, a hero in his own right ), Rachel Hurd-Wood as Meredith Crowthorn (The ethereal Meredith Crowthorn), Pete Postlethwaite as William Crowthorn (The patriarch of a Puritan family heading to the New World).
It's also based on a comic apparently, but I've never seen it. Tell me that doesn't look just awesome, though? We've needed a nice gritty action film, as I've said before, and this might fit the bill. Plus I like quasi-historical dramas where someone gets to be a bad-ass.
