Smallville Season 9 Stills and Commercials!
ComingSoon.net has all new stills and video from Season 9 of Smallville.
These look great, except - when did Clark become Bruce Wayne? Clark's standing on top of a black, gothic building with his trenchcoat billowing in the wind? I dunno, it's a little goth, but maybe he'll evolve past it.
In addition to this, AICN reports great news - they've signed an actor to play Young Jor-El during the flashbacks to young Major Zod's life... Julian freaking Sands! You will recognize him as the leader of the Ori in Stargate SG-1, or a villian a few years back in 24, and more. I'm excited about this because it means they're serious about showing Zod's past, and maybe this year we'll see a little chardev for Jor-El as well.
There's so much of potential in this year, I just hope they can live up to it. Last year when the producers changed, it was amazing, it was like watching a brand new show, and the end of the season got spontaneously very dark and seriously repetitive. I saw no reason for the Chloe and the Monster plot, or turning Davis into such an unsympathetic jerk. I didn't want to see that. I'm hoping they can pull this year off a little better.
