Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - “The Freaking Big Push”

The last few weeks have been filled with hopes of a return in DVD format for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. First, broken by Lanie Grace, then further confirmed by SaveTheSCC.com, then later talked about by the John Connor actor Thomas Dekker.

September of this year marks the beginning of a "fight for the future" as a new hardcore campaign towards Warner Bros. to greenlight this rumored DVD film continuing the Chronicles of Sarah Connor, John Connor, Derek Reese, and a Terminator named Cameron... and a human named Allison for that matter.

To coin a phrase from this past summers biggest disaster, "you are the resistance".  Join the fight in bring back one of this past decades greatest scripted television shows by working on this new planned out campaign lead by SaveTheSCC.com.

Below, take a look at a calendar for this month mapping out everything we as fans can do to Warner Bros. focusing on TSCC.  Below that, each date has a brief description of events so join in and help out!!  I know I am.

Big thanks to SaveTheSCC.com and their affiliates for this new kick-ass effort.

For all the available links that should be clickable below, you'll need to head on over to SaveTheSCC.com for that - after all, let's not steal all their work :D

Tearaway Flyers

You’ve probably seen these all over the place, for all sorts of things, from piano lessons to babysitters to job postings. Those flyers with the little strips you tear off at the bottom with the poster’s information? Now think Sarah Connor. As part of our efforts to promote the Season 2 DVD/Blu-Ray Release and the related savethescc.com Giveaway, we’re providing you with kickass flyers designed to promote our cause and catch attention. Tape them around streetlights, tack them to bulletin boards, put them anywhere you can think of.

Mini-Flyers and Bookmarks

Same idea. Print ‘em off, and put them everywhere. In front of pancake mix at your local grocery store, in the pages of every single novel in the Science Fiction section of your bookstore or library, leave stacks at checkout counters, in retail stores, anywhere and everywhere. Get the word OUT there: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is freakin’ big and we aren’t going away.

Letter Writing Day!

This one shouldn’t be too hard, since we’ve all been doing it for months now. Just take a sheet of paper, and write a letter to the WB, explaining why you think the show deserves to live on. Pop it in an envelope, stick a stamp on it, and drop it in the mailbox. See? Simple. If you need help, we have a sample letter here that you can use to jump start you.

Send one, ten, a hundred…whatever you’re up to. Let’s flood that WB mailroom!

Wrote an awesome letter? Share it with everyone here.

Postcard Day!

Even simpler. Just print out one of our pre-made postcards – or make your own if you’re so inclined – write a message supporting the show on the back, stick a stamp on and drop it in the mailbox. Or, if you want to make it even easier, use an online mailing service like Click2Mail or Premium Postcard, where all you have to do it upload the postcard image you want, provide addresses, and they’ll handle the printing and mailing for you. It’s fairly cheap and an easy way to participate.

Take Out Those Classifieds!

This one works very much like the Craigslist campaign, except instead of posting online, take out a small classifieds ad in your local paper. We’ve provided condensed examples to save space (and money!) for you to use. When the ad prints, cut out that page, highlight your ad, and mail it in to The WB!

Share your classifieds ads here.

It’s simple. Call The WB (818.954.6000) and ask for Sarah Connor. Call as many times as you want, even change it up by asking for John Connor or Cameron Phillips or whoever your favourite character is. With enough people calling, The WB should get the hint, because really…where is Sarah Connor?

Tell us all about it here.

Give Back for Sarah Connor

Sarah Connor gave up everything when she met Kyle Reese, for the sake of her son and the future of humanity. Now it’s your turn to give up a little something for Sarah Connor. Donate to the American Cancer Society in the name of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. A little or a lot, every bit helps in making a difference and enacting change. If you’re really motivated, get a bunch of friends or fellow fans together and register as a T:SCC team at the next charity marathon or run in your area. Get creative. Saving The Sarah Connor Chronicles doesn’t mean we can’t help make a difference elsewhere too.

We’ve set up a team with the American Cancer Society to make it easier for you. Donate here.
