The Stargate franchise is taking use out of the new media and along with Stargate Universe, 30 webisodes are being produced according to Gateworld.net.
The folks from Collider have been to the set of Defying Gravity, a new show that I love but will probably be canceled at the end of its first season because of misrable ratings. Even still, the set report is a good read for anyone who watches the show.
Remember the movie Interview with the Vampire? Remember Tom Cruise who played Lastat? It's a great movie and Cruise is great in it. Now, according to Bloody-Disgusting, rumor has it that Robert Downey Jr. is in talks to play Lastat in a new film.
A couple of first look photos have hit the new with Leonardo Dicaprio and Ellen Page on the set of Christopher Nolan's Inception. Both ComingSoon.net and JustJared.com have the photos.
Comedian Patton Oswalt is joining the Battlestar Galactica prequel, Caprica, as a recurring character. Oswalt will play Baxter Sarno, "a popular Caprican comedian talk show host on whose show Daniel Graystone and Amanda Graystone, ultimately appear." [The Hollywood Reporter]

Although scripts have been written, the Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis movies are on hold because the studios are waiting for the economy to shift.
