Underworld 4 moving forward
If your a fan of the Underworld franchise, and your like me who enjoyed the last film, you'll be happy to hear that Sony's Screen Gems is moving forward with another film.
"...Sony's Screen Gems is moving ahead with a fourth film in the Underworld franchise and is targeting a January 21, 2011 release," ShockTillYouDrop.com learns. "The movie will be shot in 3-d."
As of now, there isn't any casting talk so it's unclear if Michael Sheen, Kate Beckinsale, Bill Nighy, and the rest will return but I'm willing to bet that mostly everyone will come back. I get the sense that the actors enjoy these films.
Personally, I'd like to see Kate Beckinsale back... look at her on the right in that leather! C'mon! As much as I enjoyed the last film, it was tough to get through because Beckinsale wasn't in it. Sure, we had Rhona Mitra who's superhot but she's no Kate Beckinsale. That's just my opinion - whatever happens, I'm sure it'll be cool. I actually have the DVD to Rise of the Lycan's and I haven't even touched it yet. Maybe this weekend I'll check out the special features.
According to the site, they say that the "studio was pleased with the performance of the prequel." It was made for $35 million and made just over $90 million not including DVD and Blu-Ray sales.
Does anyone have any interest in another film?

Sounds very cool to me. If it does go the 3-d route I hope it’s more like Up and less the shit coming at your face.
I hope it will be as good as the previous films.
Ok im sorry but Im going to speak up. Not against the movie but I am Sick and tired of this 3D Bull S#$%#$t Im tired of shelling out 12 bucks instead of seven for this shlock. At 14 bucks I dont mind draggin a date to see this type of movie. At 24 bucks a pop that is way to much. The problem is this 3D is a joke. Hell I saw UP in 3D for free (because I went into the 3d instead of the normal one) (I suck I know) just to see what the fuss was about and I was SOOOOOO underwhelmed it was sad. I do not CARE if my movie is in 3D or not. or ooooooooh the machete looks like its coming off the screen. I thought it sucked when they did it to JAWS and it sucked when they did it to My Bloody Valentine and it will probably suck when they do it to this film as well. Just focus on making a GOOOOOD movie and quit trying to make bells and whistles to cover up for a stupid plot.
