NFD Daily

Daily film and television news.

Starting off this edition of NFD Daily is a photo of Deanna Russo.  You'll recognize her from last years Knight Rider... oh, no you wouldn't because the show sucked, nobody watched it and it was canceled.  She was sexy has hell in it anyways (click to enlarge).

Here's a set with the adorable Emily Deschanel at the Fox All-Star Party (click to enlarge):

Ah!!!! Selma Hayek with a beard!!  WTF!!! [Entertainment Weekly]

Late last week it was confirmed that Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, and Steven Seagal, among others, are joining Robert Rodriguez's Machete! [EW]

The Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier talks about the future of the Hulk franchise and upcoming Marvel films including his thoughts on art that he's seen on Captain America.  Read the story over at the LA Times.

The awesome Frank Langella is joining Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf in Wall Street 2, Money Never Sleeps. [Slashfilm]

Elizabeth Mitchell confirms she'll be back for more LOST in the final season. [Scifi Wire]

Asian star Jay Chou has been cast as Kato in The Green Hornet! The official word comes from Sony Pictures Twitter... of all places.

That idiot McG is talking about Terminator 5 and his upcoming disaster 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.  Yes, I've lost all hope for this guy as a major film director. [AICN]

More from AICN, they have a report on a bunch of items from the Los Angeles TCA event.  They have word on Hulk II, Avengers, Star Trek, V, Lost, Fringe, The Green Hornet and a couple of other things.

Again from AICN, take a look at some cool concept art for Rapunzel.

Hugh Jackman is talking about Wolverine 2 and says that early work has started on the sequel.  They're headed to Japan! [/film]

The Los Angeles Times says that GI Joe 2 is soon to go into production... hopefully they'll fire Stephen Sommers and get a better director.

The team behind the amazing film The Hurt Locker is again teaming up for a new film according to Variety.

The behind the scenes footage from the Michael Jackson rehearsals before he died will be cut together for a final performance movie called This Is It.  It's to be released October 30th!  Read about it at ComingSoon.net.

IESB.net has 9 clips from Inglourious Basterds and I can tell you, this movie looks awesome!  I can't wait to see it!  The clips are amazing... take a look.

Here are a couple of Sonya Walger photos while she was at the ABC Summer Press Tour.  You'll remember her from LOST and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (click to enlarge):

here we go again. McG shouldn’t go near Terminator franchise with a twenty foot pole. Much less write the screenplay. The man should cease all writing.
Why the hell is McG doing.
    Action pack
It appears McG like to twist everything around.
    The inglorious bastards look interesting.
As for the green hornet I am going to sit that one out.
