NFD Daily

Daily film and television news.

To start of this week, here's the cover to Fangoria Magazine with Megan Fox in Jennifer's Body.  Megan looks pretty damn sick - nice! (click to enlarge):

Here's something even more scary!  Barbara Walters interviews the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!!  [Topless Robot]

Megan-Fox.net has a photo (right) that shows Megan Fox and Josh Brolin in a portrait photo for Jonah Hex at Comic Con.

The original voice actors for Futurama will return for more according to TheStar.com.

There is a rumor that The Hurt Locker's Jeremy Renner may be auditioning or in talks to star in a new Mad Max film.  Ain't It Cool News has the story.

Jerry Bruckheimer has scored the film rights for graphic novel "World War Robot" says Variety.

Vanessa Hudgens talks to ComingSoon.net about her new upcoming film Sucker Punch!  A film directed by 300 and Watchmen genius Zack Snyder.

Katie Holmes may be in the sequel to Sex and the City sequel but will master Tom Cruise allow it? [Moviehole.net]

Gremlins 1 and 2 director, Joe Dante talks to Empire about a rumored third film, a project he doesn't want to be involved in - can't blame him.  Creator Chris Columbus also chimed in saying the same. [Empire]

Sounds like the Wachowski's may take over the Superman franchise, something that I'm not keen on at all.  Find out the story at IESB.net.

A sequel to District 9 is already being thought about.  SciFi Wire has that story.

Again from SciFi Wire, the history of Spartacus is discussed in context with the coming series starring Lucy Lawless.

Wachowski brothers taking over superman franchise, not a good idea. if they go ahead with it, I might ask someone online yet again to pull my finger.

Bryan Singer did a decent job in rebooting the Superman franchise.

I don’t want to know what the Wachowski brothers have in mind. In my opinion the execs at WB must be stoned on crack and weed.

As the new mad max, I am not going to watch it, I would stick with the original trilogy.

As for other upcoming movies, I will wait and see.
