Moon Bloodgood joins Steven Spielberg’s TNT alien invasion pilot

The most recent project I saw Moon Bloodgood in was Terminator Salvation and before that Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li. That's not a good track record for this year. I hated Terminator and Street Fighter was stupid. Even so, I like Moon Bloodgood. She's very attractive and if given a chance, she could probably be an entertaining actress. She was the only part of Terminator that I actually liked, but I think I'm in the minority for that.

Thanks to SciFi Wire, the trades report that Moon has joined the untitled Robert Rodat and Steven Spielberg alien invasion television show. The series "is set shortly after aliens have wiped out most of the human population and centers on a ragtag group of soldiers and civilians led by widower Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) who struggle against the occupying alien force."

"Bloodgood will play Anne Glass, a therapist working with the children to help them with the trauma of the alien invasion." Further, "With her strength and dry sense of humor, Anne, whose husband died during the invasion, becomes a bedrock of the survivors' community and Tom's confidant."

The series sounds like, what would happen if War of the World continued and the alien's won. I love the concept - it's simply, yes, but with Spielberg's involvement, it could be pretty damn awesome.

I like Noah Wyle who's the lead of the pilot and I'm pretty pumped that Moon is apart of the show. No word has come on when the show will premiere but I'll keep an eye out as I'm looking forward to it with great anticipation.
