A Nightmare on Elm Street: First official photo and poster
The remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street is a subject that has original fans nearly violently pissed off - can't say I blame them but it is what it is. I hate remakes but I also know I can't do anything about it, so whatever. A Nightmare on Elm Street starring Jackie Earle Haley is coming whether people like it or not. Haley by the way is a really good actor - an Oscar nominated actor playing Freddy Krueger, although I know some people will never admit that or even want to hear it. As far as original fans are concerned, he's a terrible actor for the only reason that he accepted this role.
However those people feel, again, the remake is coming so just accept it. I have, ... but than again, I'm probably not going to see this movie because I don't really care and I was fulfilled enough with the original.
A new photo has been release with Jackie Earle Haley as Krueger - it's nothing special because we really can't see anything. It's kind of cool I guess. I'm indifferent. What is cool is the teaser poster below the photo - It's pretty damn nice.

I have heard about this just now as well.
Hollywood as it seems have the urge to remake everything. A few have been remade more than three times time before.
Anyways I am going to sit this one out.
I was kind of hoping they’d throw their hands up and admit defeat by the excellent fanmade trailer that made the rounds a few months back, and just state it out loud ‘we’re taking the flames, burning clawed hands for the win!’.
But nooooo….
