Comic-Con 2009 starts Wednesday!

No, no... I'm not going. I wish I was but I could tell you a bunch of reasons why I'm not. Wanna hear them? Sure you do! A) The economic downfall tells me "don't spend money", something our President hasn't figured out yet; B)It's not like I have the money to spend anyways; C)Even if I did have the money to spend on Comic-Con, I've been really cheap lately and I wouldn't be comfortable dishing out lots of cash for all the goodies that would be on the floor; D) several other things that don't really matter. The point of all this, although I'm not going, I'll cover as much as I can from sites that are going to the event, which is basically every major film website.
Your probably wondering why I'm even writing about this, but in a way it's important. The rest of the week will more than likely be a quiet news week considering everyone is going to be having an awesome time without my cheap ass. I'm sure they'll be plenty of floor photos to post, as well as panel vids, panel reports, etc. so I'll do my best to keep on top of that. Keep an eye out, that's all I'm trying to say.
During the past few days, websites from across the net have been preparing their trips and have been posting a few things that I think you should see if your going... and even if your not.
The first is - Slashfilm and Collider have made a video blog discussing the upcoming events at the con, what you should and shouldn't expect, and why the con is a must for every movie and television geek. You can see that video at Slashfilm.com - it's very informative.
The schedule for Comic-Con is insane. If you are going, than you'll want to see this if you haven't. The main website for the event, who else, has the full schedule for the 4 day event. To see it, head on over to Comic-Con.org.
Finally, if your a fan of watching G4's and Olivia Munn's yearly coverage, G4 has their schedule which includes an all day Saturday viewing experience. Head over to their official website.
So if your going, HAVE A GOOD TIME!
