NFD Daily

It's been about a week since I've posted an edition of NFD Daily.  Last week I was on a little vacation, ... I still need one, and since my time off I've been collecting links from around the net.  I didn't post an edition Monday and Tuesday because I had tons of other stuff to post, however, today, since I'm mostly caught up, here's just over 30 items to pick and choose from.

Just to let you know, all clickable photos are from ImageVenue.  I don't like IV because they have dirty adds that are really unnecessary.  The only reason I'm using them is because ImageBam is offline - I suppose they're updating.

Back in June, the lovely Angelina Jolie visited the Walter Reed Military Hospital.  Here are a couple of photos from that visit (click to enlarge):

Have you ever seen the video of the kid going bat-shit crazy when his mom canceled is World of Warcraft account.  If you didn't, you can check it out RIGHT HERE at Youtube.  The point I'm trying to get at, someone made a hysterical musical remix of the freakout.  Thanks to Topless Robot; take a look:

Last week, a couple of photos of Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning on the set of The Runnaways showed up at Just Jared.

DVD-Forum.at has released some brutal Final Destination 4 images.  Very bloody, cool I guess, but I'm not or have never been interested in the franchise.

Ryan Reynolds last week signed on to star in a film were "a man wakes up in a coffin with no idea how he got there."  That sounds nuts.  Script Shadow has a script review for this film - Buried.

In one of Michael Ausiello's posts over at Entertainment Weekly, we find out that a Veronica Mars movie isn't likely at all.

The folks over at io9.com goes on a rant on why Khan needs to keep out of Star Trek 12, the sequel to this years film.

I don't even want to post this, but whatever.  Apparently, ANOTHER rapper is being considered to play BA Baracus in The A-Team...  It never ends. [Blackfilm.com]

You can't tell me Rachel Weisz doesn't look incredible in this pic.  Damn! (click to enlarge):

Just below, take a look at the Planet 51 trailer.  It looks like a fun movie!

Apparently, Johnny Depp dislike working with Michael Mann in Public Enemies calling his film style "chaotic". [TheDailyBeast.com]

Sad news, Samuel L. Jackson tells MTV that Nick Fury will not have any action in Iron Man 2, not yet at least.

Firstshowing.net has character posters for the new animated film 9.

As you can see just above, a new standee for 2012 is in theaters.  Thanks to Latino Review here it is.

The folks at ComingSoon.net have snapped a photo of the Navi from James Cameron's Avatar.  The photo is a Comic Con promo.

300 producer Mark Conton says that the sequel is currently in the works, it looks good, and isn't ruling out a return from Gerard Butler. [MTV]

Apparently, the cameo for Stan Lee in a Venom movie has already been written. [Superhero Hype!]

This is ridiculous, but The Hollywood Reporter says that a film adaptation from the old arcade video game Asteroids is in the works by Universal.

Bill Nighy confirms he's in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. [IESB.net]

MTV has a report that the Sin City sequel might actually be a prequel!

A new poster from Surrogtes has shown up at ComingSoon.net.

SciFi Wire has a great article telling us the 11 most patriotic scifi movie and TV moments.

George Clooney may be the next Jack Ryan!! [Slashfilm.com]

The lovely Teryl Rothery sits down with Gateworld.net for a couple of minutes to catch up.  She chokes up when Don S. Davis was mentioned... It's still strange that General Hammond is gone:

Here is a nice photo of Leelee Sobieski in Flair Magazine (click to enlarge):

Check out this trailer - Robogeisha, ... it looks insane.

Bill and Ted star, Alex Winter, has found financing for a remake of the 1987 film The Gate [BloodyDisgusting]

Slashfilm.com has some new photos from Kick Ass!

The soundtrack to Jennifer's Body will feature several different bands.  The Playlist has the story.

A new poster for A Christmas Carol is up on DVD Forum.

TheForce.net is reporting that George Lucas' film Red Tails has finished principle photography.

Before Freida Pinto, there was Aishwarya Rai!  Take a look (click to enlarge):

The trailer 2012 looked effects awesome. Watched Warehouse 13, not too shabby. I’ll watch the next one.
