Hosting change complete!!! I hope…
Well it's all done, thank god. I'm sure you've noticed that the past two weeks, I suppose, NFD had been running very slow. Slow on the main page and slow for me while trying to create posts. The last couple of months my old hosting company, Godaddy.com, hasn't been able to handle the flow of NFD. In short, NFD has been growing - traffic is very good, my google ranking is getting stronger (at least last I looked), and the physical site has made some changes to accommodate better service for search engines, etc. SEO as it's called (Search Engine Optimization). After some research and advice, I was directed to Hostgator - I bought some hosting and the transition was thankfully very smooth. Their support is excellent.
As for Godaddy, they're good and I'm reasonably pleased with them, however, they're only meant for small blogs and since my goal changes with growth, I needed better hosting.
