The fifth season of Stargate Atlantis, in my opinion, was the best season of Stargate - all of Stargate including SG-1. If there was any season I'd recommend buying at all, it would be season 5. To be honest, it's total bull that the series was canceled because of the quality that we were given with this season and Atlantis as a whole. In short, it was thrilling and emotional. From the raising of Atlantis in the pilot, I loved this show. Thankfully, however, a movie is in the works and hopefully will be ready to shoot by the time the year ends.
