Important NFD announcements
Hey folks, just a couple of things!
First - I realize that NFD has been running a little slow lately. In short, your just going to have to bear with me on that for a while longer. Traffic on this site has been increasing and because Godaddy, my host, apparently doesn't like traffic, NFD is starting to run slower. The end result - a new webhost! When? I don't know. Soon.
Second - the content for today is very little. The reason behind that is A) there wasn't any news this weekend (check the web, it was a boring weekend in movie news) B) I'm on vacation from my everyday job and I've been enjoying my time off and C) because I'm doing a few things for the site which includes the new store which I'll get to in a minute. I'm also in the process of starting a couple of new editorials (finally!) plus something new that I'm going to try. It involve audio (hearing me talk) and no it's not a podcast. Not as a podcast as you'd think it is. However, I'm still in the process of that and you should be seeing something soon.
Third - I know I know, some of you have been waiting for the Transformers review. I haven't gotten to it yet but I promise a review is coming as well as a review for the Ron Moore TV pilot Virtuality. That's for Tuesday... I hope.
Last - The NFD store. It's brand new and I've already gotten a few assholes telling me I'm a sell out because I'm trying to make a little side cash. What do you expect? I'm a Conservative trying to make better opportunities for myself. Currently, I'm very tired so let me say this in short - if you don't like the fact that I opened a little store meant only to support NFD, then get the hell out of here! Now, if you don't care and you know that it's still me doing my everyday thing and you appreciate the work I put in, it's business as usual. Let me tell you about the store - here's what is written on the store page:
This section of New Film Dimension is more than just a store for Ebay auctions, it is an outlet to help support this site and me, Phil, chief editor of NFD. I work very hard on this website - I do my best to provide daily content, be it movie or television news, celebrity photos, various art works from around the net, and the random editorials all with my personal twists. On top of all that, I go to an everyday job. That job, however, is meant to pay the bills and can not be used exclusively for the betterment of NFD. The goal for this store is to provide an income that could be used to better the site by allowing me to buy better equipment, programs and many other fun stuff - all of which can be used to better entertain YOU and relieve some financial stress on me.
...This is all, of course, not a requirement for visiting NFD - It is for your convenience.
That's it for today folks. I'm tired and I have four reviews to write tomorrow for Tuesday. I'm off to bed. Night!
