Store: Terminator Salvation score by Danny Elfman

Please support New Film Dimension by purchasing an item via the Ebay links below. If it's your first time buying something through NFD, I'd first recommend heading over to the NFD Store for instruction and important info. There you'll also find other items for sale. Remember to sign up to the Store RSS feed in order to not miss out on featured items. It isn't a requirement to buy an item but your purchase will not only help me, Phil, owner and editor, but will help the improvement of New Film Dimension.

I hated Terminator Salvation - you can read why in my review, however, that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the Terminator Salvation score by Danny Elfman.  Surprisingly, I actually really liked what I heard in the score granted the original Terminator theme never made it into the soundtrack which is something that I find totally ridiculous and foolish.  Even so, the score is still something that I like listening to.  You can hear several samples above.

"The fourth installment of the Terminator series follows an adult John Connor (played by Christian Bale) as he attempts to organize a human resistance force which could prove to be mankind's last true hope in the war against the machines. Opening in the year 2018, Terminator Salvation finds John Connor's certainty about the future shaken by the sudden appearance of a mysterious stranger named Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), whose last memory is of sitting on death row and awaiting execution. Unable to determine whether Marcus was sent from the future or rescued from the past, Connor begins to wonder whether there is still any hope left for the human race as the robots grow more powerful and aggressive than ever before. It appears that Skynet is preparing a devastating final attack designed to eliminate the human resistance once and for all, leaving Connor and Marcus with no choice but to strike back at the cybernetic heart of Skynet's operations. Once there, the two battle-scarred soldiers discover a devastating secret regarding the potential annihilation of all humankind. Anton Yelchin fills Michael Biehn's shoes as a young Kyle Reese in the first installment of a planned Terminator trilogy from director McG (Charlie's Angels)." [Fandango]

Plugging your Ebay auctions on your blog is pathetic. You realize you’re spamming your own site? Think before you post this bullshit.

Chris, if you don’t like it, then fuck off. First off, I’m not plugging MY Ebay auctions - this is called advertising; sending traffic to other websites. Ever hear of it? This is an attempt to provide an income for NFD; an attempt meant for me buying better equipment with the money earned, including another paid writer at some point. All of which is to better entertain NFD readers - even assholes like yourself.
