James Cameron video and audio interviews
One of my all time favorite directors along side Steven Spielberg and Ridley Scott is James Cameron. Cameron is of course the director of films like The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, The Abyss, Aliens and the upcoming film Avatar.
Avatar is definitely a movie that I'm getting very excited to see. You've noticed that I haven't spoken about it much and the reason is because I'm trying to avoid, what I can at least, because I don't really want to know all that much. I'd like to hit this film fresh. What I have heard, however, is that Avatar is incredible and cutting edge as is Cameron's talent.
First, thanks to io9.com and MarketSaw, head on over to each of those sites to see some concept photos and some screen shots to the video game. They look amazing but I'm really excited to see some actual footage from the film.
Also from MarketSaw is a fantastic 15 minute video with Cameron talking about Avatar the video game. Both the game and movie tie into each other obviously, although Cameron says they're independent from each other, so if your looking forward to the film you need to watch this. The things he says is very exciting.
Finally, again from MarketSaw, you can listen to a 45 minute panel with Cameron talking about Avatar and his past films. I'm currently listening to this RIGHT NOW, so I can't say all that much about it except that so far it's awesome.
