Summer Glau heading over to Dollhouse?!?
Although Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been canceled, it may not be the last time we see Summer Glau because rumor has it she may be on her way to Joss Whedon's Dollhouse starring Eliza Dushku. Glau of course starred in Whedon's past show Firefly and sequel film Serenity.
"If anybody thinks [bringing Summer onto Dollhouse] hasn't occurred to me already then they have not met me," Whedon says to Michael Ausillo from Entertainment Weekly. "I mentioned it to her before [SCC] was canceled. I was like, 'you know, we should get you in the house. But first we have to come up with something that works'."
"Summer would be perfect to play an active, but she's done that [type of role] a lot," Whedon says about Glau. "I'd rather see her play someone who talks too much. The most fun I have is when I get somebody who's good and comfortable at doing something, and then I make them do something else. Summer said to me, 'I would like to play a normal girl before I die of extreme old age'."
As much as I love Summer, do I really want her to join Dollhouse? To be honest, I'm not that sure. I feel like if Summer had a role, especially a regular role, she'd end up totally stealing Dollhouse from Eliza Dushku and I'd feel bad for her because I like Dushku, a lot. The thing is, I love Summer so much more and she'd be the icing on the cake for Dollhouse. I just don't want Summer in a small stupid role. If she's in, I want her full on. I'm not sure about this although I'm not against it. Let's see how Whedon works things out.
Truth be told, I'd rather see TSCC with Summer instead of Dollhouse with Summer. Seriously, Summer wasn't the only reason people tuned into Terminator.
What say you - Glau or no Glau for Dollhouse?

Whatever! So long as there is a LOT more Glau!
I think your right in that Summer would just dominate. Her ability to do action scenes would take away a lot from the other girls. But maybe that’s what is needed to make them up their game.
On a different note. Summer would be an awesome fit for Burn Notice.
