Way too much cynicism for a very enjoyable movie, and the inclusion of Linda Hamilton REALLY turned me on. Second, I thought that the idea of the inclusion of the Arnold Terminator was great, but it seemed to me that they purposely did it not as well as they could have, in order to limit the degree of the Governor of California's participation. Very nuanced handling of a difficult situation, I thought. Third, I didn't like it as much as Star Trek, but did like it, and I'm looking forward to the new Transformer movie, too, even though I thought the slapstick middle of the first one really weakened it a lot. BTW, I'm 65, and I LOVE comic book superheroe movies, which is what ALL of these films are about, so loosen up, people. It's not supposed to be classics of the ages! :-) First, I want to say this review is way off.
