Robert Langdon returns in The Lost Symbol - Da Vinci/Angels & Demons sequel

It's no secret that I loved The Da Vinci Code despite popular opinion.  I'm also very excited for Angels and Demons coming out May 15th but the big news today is that the stories of Robert Langdon aren't done yet.

"Author Dan Brown has announced that his next installment in the 'Da Vinci Code' series will be 'The Lost Symbol,' which Doubleday will publish in the US and Canada on Sept. 15," says Variety.  "The first print run will be a whopping 5 million copies."

"Sony has the rights to the Robert Langdon character which gives the studio the right to negotiate a deal for the new title," says the trade.  If Angels and Demons make the money they're hoping I have no doubt they'll option this film.  The Da Vinci code made over $750 million worldwide even though critics hated the film and Angels and Demons is expected to make big money as well.  If you've seen the trailers, you know that Angels and Demons looks pretty fantastic so I'm betting it will make as much money as Da Vinci made.

According to The Associated Press this book is "widely believed to be about Freemasons in Washington, D.C. (Brown has been spotted over the years in Washington, researching Masonic temples.)"

So what do you think?  Are you going to pre-order his book.  I'm not much of a reader but I'm a sucker for stuff like this, especially when it comes to Freemason shit.  I find this kind of stuff so cool and interesting.
