Save the Sarah Connor Chronicles!

May 18th is the deadline at Fox for any possible renewal of the show.

Information you need to save the show can be found at The Guide to the Sarah Connor Chronicles

      http://www.squidoo.com/The-Sarah-Connor-Chronicles

Scroll down to the bottom of what is called a lens and look for the modules (articles) entitled:

"How to Win the War to Save the Chronicles" (PR-oriented)
"Last Minute Things You Can Do"

If you personally know someone influential who is also a fan of the show, then get them to speak out publicly in support of the show. Let's face it, some people are leaders and their opinion is more likely to be listened to and acted upon. Examples in your own life are:

     popular people at your school
the popular guy or gal at work (who could say over lunch: "It's a good show worth saving.")
     your pastor or deacon
the leader in the group of friends you hang out with after work
     a neighborhood or community leader
the pacesetter in your exercise, aerobics, running, jogging, walking, or swimming group

Just them saying out loud to several people: "We should do something" can work wonders on otherwise passive followers. Leaders sometimes need to be led by followers like you.

MAY 18th ! ! !

Don't wait to be asked: put the URL of the Guide in your emails, in your blog, in your postings on discussion forums, in your texting, in your Twitter, in your chat room, in your wiki, in your MySpace, in your Facebook, and in your Second Life. Go viral with a YouTube video promoting the Guide. When you see your friends face to face, write down the URL for them. Or if they have their laptop, iPhone, Blackberry or other PDA, then take them to the Guide and make sure that they bookmark it.

Keep a sense of humor. Some of the things you read might not be your cup of tea so just act on what applies to you and let other fans act on what applies to them. Generally though, organizing and acting as a group is better than acting alone -- like crazy Sarah Connor.

Signing a petition or sending an email is not nearly enough. You need to go to a fan club meeting or organize a fan club if there is none near you. Hand write or type then post a letter to Fox. They can delete your email unread but they have to read a clean, neat, and courteous letter. That's just the way it is. Call them up and ask them nicely and politely to renew The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Whether you see the decision makers at Fox in person or write a letter or talk to them on the phone, always mention the $pon$or$ of the show and then they have to listen because money talks.

Please help. Thank you!

I am saddened to hear that this show is being cancelled. I truly enjoyed it and the cliffhanger was awesome. I do not understand why networks have to cancel well written shows and replace them with reality shows. Such a waste. Anyway, hope this is not the end.

I'm a fan of the series but there is a lot to be said for shows of this type to know where they are going and get there. Burn Notice and Life are good examples.

I would like there to be a season three but I'm cool if there isn't one. If there is a season three I can't imagine the show's budget would be big enough to cover a season of the "future".

I think it has been mentioned before, but if this show had been a mini series it would have totally kicked ass.

This was some remarkable TV making. However, I also want to state for the record, that if he'd bothered to make the rest of the season just as interesting (or at least CLOSE), viewership may never have dropped off. I'm all for a slow-burn show but it has to be an INTERESTING slow burn.

Here's hoping we get to see the rest.

@Kaudu

It wasn't so much that I was surprised that Derek was alive, I was just surprised because the last thing I expected was John to time travel to the future. I was also still angry that Derek was killed in the ep before so seeing him alive was awesome.

I dunno about an S3. I've resigned myself to there not being one. But the greatness that is TSCC S1 & S2 will keep me engaged and thinking for a long, long time over many re-watchings.
