Natalie Portman to star in Marvels Thor?
More casting rumors are beginning to surface about who's in Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh.
The lastest rumor is that of True Blood's Alexandar Skarsgard as Thor and Josh Hartnett as Loki. Both are obviously not confirmed but apparently those rumors are strong - we'll find out once an official announcement is made.
Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood has another tidbit for us to consider. "I'm told Natalie Portman is in the lead for the female lead," says Finke.
It's unknown what part she'll play but /film has a couple of theories.
Amora the Enchantress, Thor’s Asgard love-interest and antagonist.
Sif, Thor’s wife who is also a Goddess in Asgard.
Jane Foster, Donald Blake’s nurse who eventually develops feelings for him, without knowing that Blake is Thor
I'm sorry to say, but I have no idea who those characters are. I don't read comic books. Whatever the case may be, I like Natalie Portman. She's super hot and she's a good actress. I don't know if she can fit any of those roles suggested so it's hard for me to make an opinion.
What do you say? Who knows Thor?
