TV week in Review: Quick Thoughts
Quick thoughts on Heroes, Lost, Terminator: TSCC, Dollhouse, Battlestar Galactica, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Beware of spoilers.

Heroes - Cold Wars
1 - HRG is a double agent, ... again
2 - Another city is going to go up in flames which we found out in Isaac's apartment, which was also Suresh's lab, painted on the floor just like Isaac did.
Those are some of the big plot points of the episode, and they're also recycled plot points.
My hope was this episode was going to be one of the better episodes of the season and although I kind of liked it, it's just more of the same that we've been seeing all season. "Cold Wars" is basically a HRG-centric episode and since season one's "Company Man" is considered to be one of the best episodes and it's HRG-centric, I was hopeful we were going to get another great episode following up on that fantastic episode. Ehh, not really.
I liked the episode partly because we were able to get a look at how Nathan's department was formed and how HRG was a part of that. For the most part it was all alright stuff but it wasn't anything inspiring.
That's all I really got for this week. In short, I'm kinda losing interest but I'm going to continue to watch because it's better than watching reality TV.

Lost - The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham
For the longest time everyone wanted to know how John Locke died. Well, we finally found out in this episode but wouldn't you know it, ... he's alive again. To coin a phrase, "what the frak?"
We now know that the people from the plane, the plane Jack, Kate and the rest took back to the island, has indeed crashed. We also know that the island isn't done with any of those characters especially John because John is now alive and we don't know how or why but we do know how he died.
In short not much was revealed, at all. Basically all we saw was John going to most of the characters to try and convince them to come back to the island. Two big things happened - One, Agent Broy.... ahh, Mr. Abaddon was killed and Ben killed John. Why did he do it? Maybe because he knows way more than we think he does and he's just setting things up so everyone can go back but if he's good or bad, who knows.
I really enjoyed the episode for the back story and I feel like it's just setting things up for something really cool but all I have are questions that probably won't be answered anytime soon.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Some Must Watch While Some Must Sleep
I almost fell out of my chair when Summer walked past the screen in some incredibly sexy panties. Let's review (click to enlarge):
Let us pray: Thank you god for creating the best season of all, Summer.
On to the episode - Very very cool. It might not be one of the best episodes but I love how it delves into the obvious crazy ass mind of Sarah Connor. In the films we know she ends up in the insane asylum because other people think she's crazy, however, it's becoming more clear that she might actually be crazy, ... slightly.
It's difficult to know if Sarah was dreaming, or if she was having a flashback during the scenes in the insomnia hospital. Granted, her being killed in those scenes isn't true but what if some of it was and we were seeing flashbacks? I don't know, and to be honest I'm having a hard time thinking about it because my brain is currently jelly (it's late).
Did John and Cameron get it on? Or was that just Sarah having weird dreams or hallucinations about them. I don't know, but if I was John and Cameron walked past me randomly dressed like that - I wouldn't care that she's a cyborg. The scene with these two in the cafeteria was pretty funny - I laughed at John's reaction after Cameron hit the vending machine and all of the goodies dropped down. Quirky yet funny.
All in all, I liked the episode, I liked the editing and the transition between the dream hospital and what appears to be the real world. The last couple of episodes haven't been huge and are obviously character driven episodes - it seems like they're saving their money for a huge season finale, hopefully at least.
Next week looks pretty cool and it looks like we'll finally get to see a lot of Cameron. The coolest thing - it looks as if Cameron is going to kill Riley - GOD, I hope so, that would be so awesome.

Dollhouse - Stage Fright
I'm really starting to get into this show a lot for the simple reason that it's not the same old character thing every week. We get to see Eliza play different characters each episode and that's like watching a different show each week, granted there is an overall arc. There's just a couple of things I'd like to point out about this episode.
Sierra - The actress that play's her, Dichen Lachman, is completely unknown to me but just like Dushku, she has a great chance to show some acting chops. For the first time in the series so far, she had a lot to do in this episode and I say kudos to her for being pretty damn great.
Paul got shot but before he ended up in the hospital, he showed those guys why he was casted as Helo. That was an awesome scene. I don't know if anyone will agree but doesn't Paul's neighbor look like a heavier Michelle Ryan?
The coolest scene was when Echo called Rayna a bitch; it was pretty bad ass. I would have like to have seen Echo kick some more ass, Jason Bourne style, but I guess when she threw the photog, that was good enough.
What I really like was the end of the episode when Echo and Sierra pass each other in the Dollhouse and Echo kind of nods to her like, "not now", kind of thing. It seems that the both of them are more than what they appear. It could lead to some really cool stuff.

Battlestar Galactica - Someone to Watch Over Me
I thought we were going to find out what Starbuck actually is this week - we didn't, but something interesting happened. On the piano, she played All Along the Watchtower, which caused one of the greatest Tigh reactions ever, "what the frak!?!?" It got me to start thinking, maybe her father is a Cylon from the same planet as the final five and he came to the colonies, got married, and had a baby Kara. She said her father played that song after all but that doesn't explain how Hera knew the notes.
Tyrol fell for it! We know that both Tyrol and Boomer were in love back during the first season. That love made Tyrol release Boomer who then beat up Athena, screw Helo, and kidnap Hera. Tyrol now feels like an idiot and rightfully so. This is probably going to be the story that sets up the series finale because the Galactica may go after her to save Hera from the evil Cylons.
This is just setting up for a major finale that we'll probably never forget.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Storm Over Ryloth
That was a pretty damned awesome episode of The Clone Wars! In part one of this three part series of episodes, the planet Ryloth has been taking over by the Droid Army who has created a blockade around the planet. It's up to Anakin and Ahsoka to destroy the blockade and make room for Obi-Wan's invasion fleet.
Here's the summary of the episode - boom, bang, wtf!, boom, boom, we did it, bang, cool, next! - and it was awesome. The episode showed CG and The Clone Wars at it's best and next week looks like it could be more of the same since Obi-Wan is invading the planet. I can't wait to see it!

I haven’t watch Heroes since the retcon episode, and haven’t missed it.
Cool screen cap of Summer. I’ve been liking the character-study episodes of Sarah but have been missing Summer kick ass. How cool would it be if there more late night with Summer episodes, who as an experiment, spent some time as a scantily-clad vigilante?
I’m liking Doll House, and didn’t think it at the time but the chick, yeah could be.
