Christian Bale needs anger management - Beware of really bad language

This is some serious stuff.

When I first saw this, I initially thought that this was a joke or a spoof of some kind.  It is, however, really Christian Bale going absolutely insane at the director of photography on the set of Terminator Salvation.

Back in July, TMZ posted an article that said Bale flipped out on set of T4 but mostly everyone thought it was just bull and just general gossip.  It's all been confirmed with a new audio file that documented the outburst.  TMZ says, "Film execs sent the tape to the insurance company that insured the film in case Bale bailed."

Apparently, the DP accidentally ruined a scene and messed up Bale's concentration because he walked onto set.  Bale wasn't having it... well, just listen.  Beware NOT SAFE FOR WORK - Bale drops a shit load of F-bombs in his rage.

I totally understand why he got mad and I understand that he was probably in his zone while doing the scene, but that's no excuse for his behavior.  You just don't talk to someone like that, no matter the reason.

Bale is, in my opinion, one of the finest actors out there but that was just ridiculous, unprofessional, and just down right A-HOLE!  The DP made a mistake...  I agree that someone should tell the DP "get the hell out of the shot" but don't threaten him.

What makes me laugh... McG basically did nothing.  He's the director, he's in control.  He should have started screaming at Bale, told him to go home for the day and cool off but instead he says, "I didn't see it happen".  On the other hand, I do give kudos to McG for keeping his cool.  I suppose it might have been a hard day for everyone but Bale should say he's sorry.

What's interesting is that some actors say that when there is that kind of tension on set, movies usually come out better because everyone is really trying.  They say when a movie is fun and easy, it usally comes out like crap.

I can appreciate his passion, especially for this legendary character, but the man needs anger management.  I thought the rumors of Bale punching his mother was bullshit, but now I'm not so sure.

Christian Bale’s behaviour demonstrates the difference between normal anger and anger which is problematic. In this example, Christian’s anger was too intense and lasted too long. Once he reached the state of rage, there was no way to regain control of his anger.
