Emily Blunt is the “frontrunner” to play The Black Widow in Iron Man 2
Paramount and Marvel are in a clear line of production to get Iron Man 2 rolling and that it is. The last week or so has had a bunch of rumors circulating from Mickey Rourke and Sam Rockwell as villains, to losing Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury because of money.
The end of the week brings us this - Variety is reporting that sexy actress Emily Blunt may be playing Black Widow in the second film. "Emily Blunt has emerged as the frontrunner to play Natasha Romanoff in the Iron Man sequel. She's a Soviet superspy who doubles as Black Widow, a beauty in a skintight black costume enhanced by high-tech weaponry." Sounds like the kind of girl that Tony Stark would take a liking towards.
I have nothing against this news... at all. I have complete faith in Jon Favreau and what he wants to do with Iron Man in the next film. Emily Blunt is super hot and she'd look fantastic in tight black leather... you know I love hotties in that kind of costume.

This really is fantastic news! I like her a lot, and I was so happy they picked someone who looks like she would fit the character quite well. Unlike some superhero movies they pick wacky people to play them. Sometimes that works sometimes not so much. This is a good pick.
