Edward James Olmos & Mary McDonald on The View - Olmos was almost Captain Picard?!?
Yes!!!!!!!!! Finally!!!!!!! Battlestar Galactica returns today for the last 10 episodes.
Both lead stars, Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonald paid a visit to the folks over at The View to talk about the show briefly. Also, I had no idea that Olmos was offered and turned down the part of Captain Picard. That's crazy, but after soo many years now, Patrick Stewart turned out to be the perfect man for the job. It's funny how things work - Stewart is perfect for Picard; Olmos is perfect for Adama.
