TV week in Review: Quick Thoughts
Quick thoughts on Knight Rider, Stargate Atlantis, Sanctuary and The Clone Wars.
To be honest, I don't even know what aired this week.

Knight Rider - Knight Fever
It's been some time now that we've seen a new episode of Knight Rider - Is it just me or is airing a brand new episode on New Years Eve the dumbest move a network can make... What, did they think the entire country would be watching Knight Rider instead of celebrating New Years?
This new episode of Knight Rider is about some kind of nano virus that's able to take over machines, it eventually takes over KITT and stuff happens.
With a series like Knight Rider you need to have an open mind and honestly be easy with the show because it really isn't quality TV, even though I know some of you really like it, but even with an open mind this episode wasn't very good or enjoyable.
Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing the change in concept back to the original formula from the Hasselhoff days, helping regular people instead of doing a bunch of government terrorist of the week stuff that usually turns out to be lame
I know it isn't going to last long because more than likely Knight Rider is going to get cancelled - if a second season is greenlit I'll be very surprised.
What I found to be extremely annoying with this episode was the ending and with out giving much away for those who still haven't seen it - there is a very cliche 1 second left on the clock thing that I rolled my eyes over. I'm talking about rolled my eyes to the point of seeing my brain.
Yet again there is hardly any character development except for maybe Sarah but it's really worthless development. The only hope I have left for an entertaining series, what's left of it, is maybe the new format starting in a couple of weeks.
If you've missed the episode, you can take a look at it thanks to Hulu:

Stargate Atlantis - Vegas
Now that Vegas has aired, that means only one thing... the series finale is coming up - *tears*
Vegas is a different kind of episode; It involves a different reality were John Sheppard never joined the Atlantis team and became a cop in Las Vegas. Fate however has Sheppard face off with a Wraith that's living in Vegas because of various circumstances. The episode really is a stand alone but is also important because it has something to do with the season finale which you'll see this week.
I really like this episode because it's really different and out of the "stargate" box, if you will. It's shot very differently, with a different feel. I don't watch all those CSI shows but Stargate takes a page out of that book a creates something very fun and very entertaining. Vegas is an episode that features John Sheppard heavily and to a credit him, his performance is really really good because, although he's slightly the same character he's also sort of broken because his life sucks... simply.
To me it seemed like and episode that reminded us, "this is who Sheppard is" in respect to what McKay told him about his alternate self - that became evident at the end of the episode.
The big episode is going to be the finale and I'm really looking forward to seeing that. Expect to see a review for that and the series in general instead of a quick thoughts.
Till then, thanks Atlantis crew!

Sanctuary - Revelations Part I
The first part of Sanctuary's season finale aired Friday.
I know this show gets a lot of mixed feelings from people because, let's be honest, Sanctuary isn't that great of a show but it's still entertaining enough for me, that's why I still watch.
Some kind of virus starts effecting abnormals and turning them violent. Magnus and her team are now in search of a cure - helping them is John and Dr. James Watson, 2 of the 5, well actually 3 including Magnus. If you don't know what the 5 is, than go back and watch some episodes.
I feel like they're setting up for something big but if it will turn out like that in the next episode, I don't know because sometimes when your building up for something big it usually turns out like crap. Watch the season one finale of Heroes and you'll know what I'm talking about.
In short, I like how the characters interacted this week, most notably Dr. Zimmerman with John and Watson - Jack the ripper and Sherlock Holmes. I thought that was pretty cool.
The next episode could be an interesting finale so we'll find out next week and of course, I'll discuss it.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Dooku Captured
I feel like I missed an episode given how this started but I, or rather we didn't miss any episodes since the episode before this is The Lair of General Grievous.
The episode starts with Obi-Wan rescuing Anakin from Dooku, which was planned to begin with. So Obi-Wan and Anakin of course cause trouble for Dooku which causes him to abandon his ship. The Jedi's give chase causing Dooku to crash on a planet. While there he gets picked up by some pirates who eventually capture Dooku... Wait, they captured a Sith? How's that. The pirates offer Dooku to the republic and both Obi-Wan and Anakin go to get him.
It wasn't really an episode full of action like The Clone Wars usually is, it's basically Obi-Wan and Anakin bantering back and forth, but it's entertaining. They truly act like brothers and it's kind of hard to imagine Anakin turning into a Sith... Besides the bantering there isn't much to this episode.
Dooku Captured is the set up to what looks like to be an action packed episode next week.
Until next time!

I agree with you on Sanctuary. I was disappointed that Ashley was captured so quick. They need to let her be the badass she was in the web series.
I loved this episode of Atlantis.
It was absolutely brilliant!
I thought seeing a different version of Sheppard was very cool and the Wraith playing poker - FTW!
