Katee Sackhoff diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer; part 2 of SciFi Q&A

Galactica starts in a couple of weeks!

Before I get to the video, the second part of her SciFi interview, we need to discuss this cancer rumor.  The last week or two I started hearing rumors that Katee Sackhoff has or had cancer but I could never find a source so I thought some human shit stain was saying really idiotic things about Katee.  Unfortunately, it may have been true.

From SciFi Magazine:

"The show ended and then a week later they're like, '...and you have cancer.'" While Sackhoff had felt something was wrong as they finished filming Battlestar's final episodes, she never expected to be diagnosed with thyroid cancer. "It never progressed to a point where it was life threatening. It was thyroid cancer, so it was never a cancer that was going to kill me. But ... it was an awakening for me to really, really stop long enough to let the people that I love know that I love them. ... Everything turned out great. [My] energy level's back up. They got all the cancer. So things are good. [However,] the end of the show was very weird for me, because I wasn't all there."

I don't know what to say really...  I'm thrilled beyond belief that she's alright because I would have been very upset if something happened to her.  God knows I don't want to see anyone suffer especially people I admire and who are so generous like Katee.  I once sent out a through the mail autograph request to her; I sent two 8x10s and Katee sent back 8 photos all personalized to me!  It was the greatest day ever.

Here’s hoping she stays well, and she has plenty of opportunities to wear leather pushup bras on film.
