How about Kate Beckinsale as Catwoman?
Yes, I want this!! Big time!!
While speaking to MTV about her new film Nothing but the Truth Kate Beckinsale was asked about doing future action films and if there is a character she'd love to do, "Catwoman in a Nolan-directed 'Batman 3,' for instance?" MTV says.
"Absolutely, that would be awsome," Beckinsale said. "I'd love to do that. One of the things I've done wrong with my career is not have a massive game plan for it. I enjoy being surprised. I was surprised to ever find myself even considered for an action movie. I'm like the literary, academic geek who's not very good at sports, so it was amazing shocking that anyone would ever do that. I like to be surprised."
Someone should tell her that the Batman series isn't really about action and it's more about depth in characters and story. Nobody knows, not even Nolan at this point, if Catwoman would even appear in the new film that will eventually get made but out of all the chicks considered by the movie audience, Kate Beckinsale is my favorite. 2 simple reasons; One - she's totally hot and seductive that she'd fit into the role as if it was a silk pair of pjs. Two - She's a really good actress and if you don't think so, than you haven't seen enough of her films, or the right ones at least. Now all of that can be said about some of the other suggested actresses... but Beckinsale is the best. Just picture it... Bruce Wayne in a room full of people and who comes walking in, take your pic -- Angelina Jolie (ehh), Rachel Weisz (Hmm), Cher (WTF!), or Kate Beckinsale (Bruce Wayne has a hard-on).
Who knows..... it's just a thought.

I have seen enough of her films to know that she’s a lightweight in the acting department. She pales in comparison to Angelina Jolie and especially Rachel Weisz, who can act circles around her.
Yes please sign me up! I would love to see her as catwoman, I think she so could seduce bruce wayne without being cheesy, I think there would be genuine heat there. How insane would it be to have her in a catwoman suit! I have to respectfully disagree with my colleague Jim there. I think she has very strong acting chops and would fit in with the films, very well.

Only way I would want to see anyone as cat woman is if they actually did a back story. In year one Cat woman was a young hooker who messes up her pimp and moves on. I am tired of the actual sexual tension characters in Batman’s life being some cheap eye candy. Do it right or don’t do it at all. and personally Angelina is not hot enough and Weis always comes across as too prissy.
Plus call me crazy but I always thought cat woman should never have been “white” as so many artists portray her. She screams ethnicity I would like to see a talented Latina or Indonesian actress get it.
If Im looking for easy on the eyes material Natalie Martinez from death race looks hot.
Christian your comment is racist. So white women can’t have as much character as other ethnicities? Go back to the 19th century. I could name several women of many ethnicities that would be good for the part, including caucasian ones.

Kate or Rachel would be good. Even Katie from Battlestar. My personal choice would be the lady (blanking on her name right now) who played Electroclash in No Heroics.
