Frank Miller is going to screw up Buck Rogers by directing it
I say Frank Miller will screw up Buck Rogers because the early reviews for The Spirit are beyond awful and disastrous. Some what have seen it are already calling it the worst movie of the year and Frank Miller should just stop directing now.
I've never been a huge Buck Rogers fan, granted it's not something I've ever tried to get into however, but it's science fiction so that automatically means I want to see it and I want to see it well made and not horrible. Miller's involvement isn't very attractive at this point.
The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Buck Rogers will have "Miller's signature visual elements and themes, such as corruption and redemption."
I'm still going to see Miller's Spirit just to see how bad it actually is, if I don't like it at all, but even if it's good I'm not all that thrilled with Miller directing Buck Rogers. I personally would rather have a different director--someone who's more in tune with SciFi action and can create those fantastic foreign worlds I love; Miller isn't that guy.
