Majel Barrett-Roddenberry to voice the computer in Star Trek!
It's a small piece of the puzzle but it's fantastic news.
As she is called the First Lady of Star Trek, wife of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, Majel Barrett-Roddenberry has once again been asked to voice the role of the computer in the upcoming Star Trek film. Majel has played a huge part in the franchise as she played a couple of different characters as well as voicing the computer in 4 of the series as well as some of the films.
This news comes as a surprise but it's amazing news. I'm glad to see that she's supporting JJ Abrams who may have brought Star Trek back to what it was when Gene Roddenberry was still with us. Each piece of news that comes out about ST excites me to no end but I just hate that we have to wait until may to see it. Think about it, if they didn't change the release date Star Trek would be premiering in just 2 weeks... *tear* but Paramount ruined it...
