Keanu Reeves talks about Speed 3 and Bill & Ted
A couple of days ago a rumor hit the net that a Speed 3 was being worked on and the studio was hopeful to get Keanu Reeves back to star in it, however, Reeves says to IGN that he doesn't "know anything about it".
"I don't know if they are going to make another one, and if they are it won't be with me... honestly!" Can you blame the guy. The first Speed was actually a good movie with a great cast but one was enough and certainly a second movie wasn't needed, yet one was made and it was a disaster. Do we really need a 3rd film? I don't think so and if it's made I probably won't see it even if Reeves is in it, not that he's a draw or anything.
There is a sequel on the other hand that I personally would love to see and to my surprise Reeves isn't against it. When asked about Bill & Ted Reeves said, "Well you know, never say never. Maybe we could do it with them both grown up -- they haven't saved the world and they're just living their lives as middle-aged men. That sound's quite funny." I like it, lets do it... it'll be better than the remake that's planned. This makes me laugh because the studio is probably going to remake it which was said a while back but right here Reeves is basically offering that he'd be interested in making a sequel... It'll never happen and it sucks. I love those movies as a kid and I still love them to this day.
