Terminator Salvation will run just over 2 hours; Worthington speaks; Brolin almost Terminator

The holiday weekend brought in a couple of Terminator 4 stories that I think are worth looking at starting with the running time of the picture.  Most people were probably expecting T4 to be a 90 minute action packed movie, but that's not the case according to a German Newspaper, at least about the 90 minute part.

Terminator's director McG says that T4 will be around 2 hours and 10 minutes and that's cool by me.  I usually don't mind movies that are long, as long as they're good but unfortunately I'm not holding on to much hope for T4 so this might be 2 hours too long.  I will say this, so far in the past couple of months with some of the concept photos as well as a concept art video plus other things, this movie does look like it's shaping up to be something really cool but like anything else it's all a just a matter of how it translates on the big screen.  That said, even though I'm not holding on to much hope, that little hope is getting a little bit bigger.  If McG can pull it off and suck me in within the first 10 minutes, I'll gladly sit in the theater for over 2 hours.

Moving on to more T4 news;  Do you remember some time ago when Josh Brolin was rumored to be the next Terminator, probably considered for the role that Sam Worthington ended up playing?  Well it turns out Brolin was indeed considering joining the film.  He tells MTV, "Yeah.  I talked to Christian Bale for a couple of hours.  I really liked the script though I hear that's not what they filmed.  The one I read was very interesting and dark. Ultimately though I didn't think it felt right."  Brolin's next comment, however, started to turn some wheels when he said "I saw Bale recently and I asked him how it was and he said, 'it's alright'."  "It's Alright"... what could that mean? Well Sam Worthington has something to say about that in the next piece of news.

Thanks to Moviehole.net "Worthington wants people to know that this film is going to deliver".  The article says that Worthington doesn't believe Bale meant anything with that "It's alright" comment and I don't think he did either.  Bale isn't a very excitable person... just look at his interviews, he's always very reserved.  "For my knowledge Josh Brolin hasn't seen our film.  And knowing Christian - I'm sure he would reserve his true judgement till the movie is complete," Worthington says.  "From my own eyes and early screening of Terminator Salvation, I can say that what I have seen and what McG is putting together is exciting and a thrilling ride."
