Sanctuary is greenlit for a second season

Do you watch SciFi's Sanctuary?  I do and I know a couple of people do here also.  But the majority of the viewers say "pick up the pace" when it comes to Sanctuary and for good reason.  That, however, hasn't stopped people from watching Sanctuary because it just got picked up for a second season.

TV Guide scores the exclusive report by saying that SciFi greenlit Sanctuary for a 13 episode second seasons.  SciFi's Mark Stern tells them, "SciFi will continue to trail blaze the television landscape by further exploring the many worlds of Sanctuary through its unique green screen environments.  Technology and great storytelling makes Sanctuary a fantastic addition to SciFi's 2009 lineup."

I for one am not against this news.  After all, it does give us more chances to see Amanda Tapping and Emilie Ullerup's Nubbins.... yes?  Seriously, the fans are right.  Stern might call it great storytelling but the truth is... Sanctuary is an 'alright' show at best and it needs to pick it up.

Amanda Tapping pretty much carries `Sanctuary’ single-handed, IMHO. It just about makes it to mediocre. They need to ditch the crap leading man and bring in some new blood. It has potential but I’m not going to keep watching if it doesn’t kick it up a notch or two.
