David Hasselhoff to return to Knight Rider as a series regular???

This could be big for Knight Rider... seriously.

Just a couple of days ago, I posted up a story that told us that a few cast members were dismissed plus a change in story telling format. The hope is to bring back the feeling of the original series. You can read about that HERE.

Apparently producers are already thinking about a second season for the critically slammed and low rated show. But how can they bring the ratings up to justify a second season? The answer might be, bring back David Hasselhoff as a series regular; the original Michael Knight.

Thanks to AICN here's the rumor: "The plan for the next season of Knight Rider, says he, is for David Hasselhoff to be a regular on the show. He'd be teamed with his on-screen son Mike Tracer (Justin Bruening) to solve weekly adventures in the hopes that that boosts ratings." That rumor came about because The Hoff apparently passed up Anaconda 5. Lol, Wow, Anaconda 5.... Anyways, it's only a rumor but if it's true, YES!! I'm all in for it. Now they have to bring back the Camaro and William Daniels as KITT. I'll hold off from being a geek until this is confirmed, but I like the idea. On the other hand... it's probably not true at all and just a wild rumor.

And coming next– Baywatch- The Next Generation! With Hoff and Pammy as the senior LGs…..but the show is moving to Boca where the rescues are all seniors….they can air it against the new Melrose on the CW

I hope this is true and he does return - with the original KITT. Its the ONLY thing that can save this show and the only reason it worked the first time around.

Are they going to do some upgrades and improvements to the original Pontiac Firebird. Its will be nice to see David Hasselhoff and his Pontiac Firebird returns to Knight Rider. I hope the new Knight Rider shows will continue a lot longer because the shows in the 80’s ended too soon and I always thought they were popular shows. Anyway I hope the writer and producer reads this message. Thanks for returning the show back on T.V.
