Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Brothers of Nablus
After a week off from The Sarah Connor Chronicles, the series comes back to what seems like to me, setting up the next episode Mr. Ferguson is Ill Today which looks to be a major episode and the end for one of our series regulars. If you haven't see the promos from that episode... don't!! because they're extremely spoilerish. That's why I haven't posted those photos because they're just too much, however, you can see them almost everywhere on the the Internet that talks television.
This week basically saw two story's; Cromartie's search leads him to the Connor's home but thanks to a brave Riley, he's tricked into leaving but for how long. Also the Connor house has been robbed and Sarah, Cameron and Derek go on the hunt for the criminals that have their stuff.
There isn't much I want to talk about except that Brothers of Nablus was a fine episode. For starters, the beginning of the episode with Ellison almost getting killed by a Terminator that looked like him was cool. It's not the attack I liked but it was the tear Ellison had after the attack. He looked completely petrified. Also, the scene towards the end when Cameron killed those three punks.... awesome and bad ass. It was so cold hearted.
The story with John and Riley needs to start moving forward. The same goes for Derek and Jesse. I'm curious to know what Jesse's deal is and why Derek is keeping her presence a secret. He probably hasn't said anything because he's trying to protect John.
Finally, the fight that Sarah and John had was great. I kind wanted to see John punch his mom in the face, but that would have been too much. He's right though; she's pissed that he wants to spend time with someone else, someone that hasn't tried to kill him and someone that is just normal and doesn't know about the end of the world. That, however, looks like it's going to change with tonight's episode. Looks like we're in for a lot of fun and kick ass action!

Knight Rider - Knight of the Living Dead
It's Halloween in the world of Knight Rider... With nods to Dr. Who and Heroes, Knight Rider brings us another fast paced episode with a big development nodding back to the original series. KARR. The question is if it's the same KARR from the original series or if it's a whole new deal but I'm sure we won't find out anytime soon.
Someone goes to extremes so they can infiltrate Knight Industries and set KITT to auto destruct. Why you say? So the good folks of KI download KITT's files and the bad guy can take them... Sounds like fun right? Well, it actually is. I've said many times that Knight Rider isn't a good television show and it's not compelling in anyways, but what it does do well is keeping the pace fast and moving. That's a trick a lot of TV shows refuse to learn.
That said, this is basically a straight forward episode that sets up a possible arc that involves KARR. That's the only thing worth mentioning this week. Since Knight Rider has been picked up for a full season, hopefully they'll continue that story line because not only is KARR bad ass, Mike has some sort of connection with it... what that is, we don't know but it could be awesome.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Downfall of a Droid
Downfall of a Droid is part one in a series of R2 episodes. Anakin loses R2 in battle and now our favorite Droid with everything Republic programmed into him is going to be sold to Grevious; not good for the Republic.
Like usual, it's full of action; Star Destroyers vs Separatist warships and lightsaber action. I guess when it comes down to it, it's another kick ass Star Wars episode but the one thing that I found annoying was the whole techno music thing. Granted I'm not expecting a John Williams epic score but the techno music was... weird. I guess I'm just not used to it in this universe.
We also see more of Anakin's attachment problem. I'm willing to bet his attachments are going to get him in big trouble in the end...*duh*. We also see Anakin's combat genuis. I didn't know the early versions of the Imperial Walkers can walk in space... that was cool. Grevious got punked... What we need, and hopefully we'll see it soon, is some serious lightsaber battles. I'm pumped for the day when we finally see Anakin and Ventress go at it.

Stargate Atlantis - Prodigal
Well it looks like that's it for Michael.
In another fantastic episode of Stargate Atlantis, Michael and his hybrids invade and take control of Atlantis. There Michael kidnaps Teyla and her baby so he can use the child to dominate the galaxy. Sounds like every other villain in Stargate.
The bottom line is we get to see a whole range of bad ass fights between the hybrids and our Atlantis team. Ronan kicked the crap out of several hybrids but gets bested by Michael and we also see a Shepard bad ass moment at the end of the episode while fighting Michael. In the end, it was Teyla who showed extreme cold heartness (word?) towards Michael... kudos girl!
The only thing I found ridiculous was how Teyla was running around with her baby and he didn't make a sound until the obvious plot points... a hybrid walks past and he makes a sound... cliche. However, that's just a little nitpick that doesn't really matter. What does matter is the episode was fun and adds to what I call, the best season of Stargate ever.
Next week I'm expecting another kick ass episode because Kolya returns. Robert Davi is awesome.

Sanctuary - Nubbins
Ah yes, the Nubbins of Amanda Tapping and Emilie Ullerup. "Don't you just wanna squeeze them".... lord.
Thankfully this episode was a much improved episode from the last one, Kush. Kush was horribly boring. Nubbins had a fun interesting quality to them basically because the featured creatures were killer Tribbles. They were cute and furry but they had the appetite of a Critter and the sex drive of a porno star. That sex drive produced pheromones that affected our stars causing some sexually tense sense which were funny. There was a lot of sexual innuendos. For example, "I got wood!" Hahaha.... yea I thought it was funny. Also featured was a beast that killed these little Tribbles by tearing them to little pieces... bloody mess. So overall it wasn't a bad episode.
Next week looks good because finally John Druitt returns. Christopher Heyerdahl is awesome as Druitt and I'm glad to see he's finally coming back.

Crusoe - High Water
I just realized that the hottie playing Cruose's wife played Princess Nuala in Hellboy II. I thought that was interesting.
Anyways, more back story! High Water once again reaffirms the friendship between Crusoe and Friday. After Friday gets trapped, Crusoe stays with him and finds several ways to save him before he drowns. Also, Crusoe finds a boat that could potentially get him home to England but has to choose between the boat or the life of his best friend.
First off, we need more Sean Bean! But since the show is about Robinson and not his father, this will have to do. I've said many times already that I really enjoy this show and just like the weeks before, this episode adds the that enjoyment. Part of the story continues from last week as we see the mutineers starting to rebuild the damage Crusoe caused their ship. The repairs also gives Crusoe a chance to figure out how he's going take the ship for himself so he can get himself and Friday off of the cursed island before it disappears in thin air... wait, wrong island, sorry.
During the episode we see more flashbacks into Crusoe's life and it shows how unfortunate things were for him while still in England. At the same time, Friday is unsure that he wants to go to England with Crusoe considering during that time men of color were unfortunately considered slaves and savages. On a side note, it's funny how all of that changes over the century's and shows how far we've come considering the new Pres of the USA. So Crusoe understands how Friday feels but also pledges to stand with him either way, no matter what. He tells Friday that he's what kept him alive after 6 years of not seeing home.
Other than that, fun fun fun.

True Blood - I Don't Wanna Know
True Blood made it through an episode without anyone getting naked... And what's the deal with Michelle Forbes looking all Zombified. Was it just me or was a cow next to her??
This episode was full of all kinds of weirdness. Sam is a shapeshifter. He's kind of the lame man's excuse of a Founder from DS9. At least they were good shapeshifters. This guy turns into dogs and stuff. Apparently, Sam knows of a world that goes bump in the night and when he tells Sookie there is a lot of different things going on in the world she has sort of a nervous break down. She just needed to breath it all in at the time.
On another front, Bill had his trial and after he presented his case, his punishment was to change a human girl to a suck monkey (thanks Edgar Frog). That was kind of a cool scene... We got to see all vampire stuff going on. Unfortunately, the vampire leader wasn't compelling as say, Viktor from Underworld. Bill was forced to feed on the girl but what surprised me was that Eric seem disturbed by it. He wasn't all vamp giddy like the rest of them.
What about Tara.... LAME! Her story sucks.
The killer found his or her way to Sookie and she almost bought it but she's scrappy and got away. That's about it with the killer.
Oh and the gay vampire got killed by Lizzy Caplan....
Until next week!

T:SCC rocked, as usual.
Yes, `Atlantis’ was kick-ass. I think they could have hinted that the baby was actually calmed by sensing the Wraith presence - that seemed to be what was going on and it would make some kind of sense given his history. I thought the fight between Michael and Shephard could have been handled better. Losing the G36 was plausible but Shephard had his .45 and a big FY knife that he made no attempt to deploy. In that kind of fight he should have won, and quickly, because he had a knife, although he was physically over-matched he wasn’t totally out of the game but really needed to use that knife. At the very least they could have made Michael have to disarm Shephard of his pistol and knife before Teyla turned up. It was cool when Teyla saw Michael off tho.
I liked this `Sanctuary’ a lot less than last week. The CGI was decidedly poor at various points, which is bogus considering the show makes a big deal of being CGI. And what-his-name must be the most girly-looking, insipid leading man on TV probably ever. Him coming on all amorous with Amanda Tapping was entirely ridiculous. Plus, the feeble double-entendre would have worked as one short scene leading to a bit of lip-locking or something but as it was it was simply lame and pointless. `Sanctuary’ really needs to kick up a gear to be worthwhile.
Knight Rider was *AWESOME*! I love a properly done spooky episode, and the KARR revelation was fascinating. Also it’s good to see KITT evolve a bit.
I am a huge fan of taking chances with a score, so I LOVED Clone Wars’ music, and the episode was kick-ass. I feel a little bad that Ashoka doesn’t see that the droid really is malfunctioning - I suspect that some of the droids that the Clone Army gets are being sabotaged by the Techno Union. I can’t prove it yet, but that’s what I suspect.
Atlantis was *MONUMENTAL*. And I like that they finally gave Teyla some fricking character development, she needed it. It was good to see the way that ended.
Terminator remains awesome, and last night’s ep was even better.
