Terminator: TSCC and Dollhouse will take over Friday’s for FOX

Could this be the end for Terminator: TSCC and the early demise of Dollhouse? Is FOX sending these shows to their doom? Probably....
This is the deal; According to Scifi Wire both TSCC and Dollhouse will have Friday night timeslots starting in February. "Fox announced that it will debut Joss Whedon's much-anticipated but troubled SF series Dollhouse in a problematic Friday-night timeslot on Feb. 13, 2009, following Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which also moves to Fridays from Mondays on that day," SF Wire tells us.
Terminator will be moved to 8pm with Dollhouse following at 9pm.
Part of me likes the move because I'll have more things to look forward to when the weekend comes but at the same time, this could be FOXs' way of saying screw you and goodbye to these shows. Don't forget Firefly had this timeslot and we all know what happened to that. I'm curious to know what the pundits have to say about this because it is an interesting move. Both shows together could potentially do well for the channel and by now we do know that FOX has supported and advertised TSCC. If they can do that with the move to Fridays, we might have a couple of winners there.

With Galactica returning to finish it’s final run on fridays in January, I can’t help but feel like this is Fox shooting its genre shows in the foot.
Why so negative?
The last show that worked on Fridays was SciFi and FOX has been looking for something to recreate that success ever since. There’s nothing else on broadcast like TSCC/Dollhouse. And the guys at FOX aren’t the guys that killed Firefly so people need to get over it already.
If FOX wanted to kill Dollhouse, they’d put in on Monday’s at 8 in February and let Chuck & Big Bang Theory wipe it out.
well they really listened didnt they
totally ignored all the on line pertitions to get scc moved to a wednesday night and instead moved it to a friday.
just shows they dont really care about the people who watch and love these shows. they just make things up as they go.
i can only hope that lots more people will watch before heading out the door to their friday night watering hole.
i wait with antisipation…… woodymcnab here in the uk
I like the pairing of the shows far more than the downside of being on Friday. Also we’re talking February, a lot of things can change in that time.
