Ed Norton is signed to more Hulk films

More Hulk smash from Ed Norton.

About a week and a half ago, I put up a post about the head of Marvel Kevin Feige said that the Hulk will indeed return at some point.  That's been confirmed with the recent press release telling us that The Incredible Hulk will be in The Avengers.  The question that I had at least was if Edward Norton was going to come back to play the role. He was recently heard saying he's waiting to hear from Marvel about that.

Gale Anne Hurd who is a major producer and has produced films like Terminator 1, 2 & 3, Aliens, The Abyss (all James Cameron films) and of course The Incredible Hulk, spoke with MTV and she mentions that Norton is signed on for more films.  "It's all going to depend on the screenplay and where his character goes in any sequel, because he does have a multiple-picture deal," speaking of Norton's contract.

But like Feige said in his report, the stand alone Hulk film franchise will take a break and the next time we'll see the character is in The Avengers.  "Next, he's likely to appear in an 'Avengers' movie, but that's completely up to Marvel."

That actually makes big sense to me.  We all know The Avengers is going to be huge in box office numbers.  The buzz for this film is considerably large even with the fact that it's not even close to shooting yet.  If the Avengers is a good movie, the exposure could help The Incredible Hulk 2 make a much larger box office take than what we just saw this summer.
