The first photos from Star Trek!!!!
Holy Shit!!!!! This is amazing!!!
The promotion for Star Trek has started with the release of 6 photos from the upcoming film. The photos were released as exclusives to 6 different websites including MTV, JoBlo, Trek Movie, UGO, Ain't It Cool News and IGN. I honestly can go on and on about how pumped I am when I see these pics but I'll leave it to just a couple of comments. For starters, the pic with Spock choking Kirk.... classic Trek... I love It!!! When I see that pic, I think of the original series when Spock loses control and only Kirk can talk him back. The pic above with the cast... omg. At first honestly I got pissed because I see that in these photos, Kirk is wearing black. What's the deal, where is the Captain's gold. Over at MTV, apparently it's part of the story. "When asked [to Damon Lindelof] why Kirk was wearing black instead of the standard yellow captain's shirt, Lindelof said that the black uniform is 'significant' to the story surrounding this scene."

All I can say is HELL YES. Trek hasn’t been any good since DS9 went off the air. I saw these pics earlier today on my news trawl, but thanks for the repost. You ROCK. Cannot wait for this movie.

I like them all.
But the bridge scene ist the best of all. Kirk an Sulu are sitting there as if Shatner and Takei directed them personally. And Bones? As if DeForest Kelley is standing there, alive and young again.
Every doubt, this movie might not work is gone now. It will ROCK!!!
Looks like they totally abandoned the look and colour schemes of The Original Series. Might work though.
Glad to see the miniskirt is still in the movie. The visuals look pretty good, I hope the story is equally brilliant.
