Lucy Lawless talks Galactica and Xena
There is a couple of Lucy Lawless items I want to touch on today.
Thanks to Juicy-Flawless.orgwe get pointed the way to an interview that talks about the last half of Battlestar Galactica and the possible future of Xena. Also below is a video from Bitch Slap.
Galactica.TV posted up an audio interview with Lawless to talk about the last half of the final season for Battlestar. You can listen to the entire interview HERE! As important as I find any news for Galactica there is another piece of info that is equally important; the future of Xena. "God knows. It depresses me. Depresses me what a waste of a character and franchise that was," she tells the website. She goes further saying that "It has to happen, and it's going to happen".
"I'm kind of trying not to be enraged about that because there's no on to kick, you know? I try to put it out there as a possibility. It's a fantastic character and it needs to be modernized, you know, done in a new way. Rob Tapert had a really cool story for it."
Tapert is her husband if you didn't now. So apparently he has a story in mind for the resurrection of Xena but nobody knows if it will ever come to life. I don't see or understand why both Xena and Hercules can't be revived. Nobody ever said they had to go on the big screen. I've said it before but they should do 4 or 5 TV movies just like they did during the first days of Hercules The Legendary Journeys. Obviously it was a success back then, who says it won't be today. There's probably more fans today for both series than there was back during its series run. They could even do a DVD movie. There is money to be made here but the studio's won't see it because they're assholes.
On to the next thing. Creation Entertainmentposted this hysterical video of Lucy and Renee O'Connor on the set of Bitch Slap. An exploitation film that looks totally kick ass.
